Welcome to the North Oldham High School website!  Our number one priority is to educate our students while challenging and supporting them every day.  Our responsibility is to ensure that every action and decision is intentional and based on clear objectives that promote achievement.  By giving our students the strongest educational foundation possible, we feel that we will prepare our graduates for a productive future.  Therefore we stand behind the Oldham County Schools vision for students with a strong promotion of these five learning outcomes: media and technology skills, critical thinking and problem solving, communication skills, creativity and innovation, and leadership.  We are eager to assist you in any way; please don’t hesitate to contact us.  Go Mustangs!

Parents and Students:

Please be aware that the student drives that are located on the school network will no longer be available after the 2015/2016 school year. Students need to copy any needed files to their student OneDrive or Student Google GAFE account or a thumb/flash drive. Below you will find short but informative videos on how to do this. If you have any questions, please come see us in the LMC and we will answer your questions. Have a great summer!

NOHS Summer School Information

You will receive a phone message and email via Infinite Campus Messenger Friday, June 3rd, if your student has qualified for NOHS Summer School. Please see the contract below with information regarding dates, times, and expectations.

  • There is no fee for summer school. You do not have to call and register. Just print the contract, fill in your information, sign, and have your student bring it with them Wednesday morning.
  • Please arrive at school Wednesday, June 8th by 8:15 AM at the very latest! Dr. Newcomb will be in the front lobby to check you in and direct you to your classroom.
  • If you have qualified for more than one class, you must choose one class to complete first. If you failed English, you will more than likely complete that class first. You will probably only have time for one, but if you work hard, you can try to complete two. Dr. Newcomb will look at your schedule and have a suggestion ready for you on Wednesday if you are not sure which class would be best.

Please read the contract carefully and email me with additional questions. I hope to see you Wednesday morning!
